This clamping module has a holding force of no less than >35,000N, while the module's installation dimension is only ø47.5x31mm.
These robust quick changeover clamping modules are used in challenging changeovers; in many applications where a high holding force is required. These modules can easily be built into existing systems and machines such as (injection) moulds, assembly lines, clamping systems, including for 5-axis machining centres, etc. Suitable for many industries such as the cutting and chipless machining industry, pharmaceutical, chemical and food industries.
How it works
These modules generate an admirably high clamping and holding force. The modules are sealed by spring pressure and opened pneumatically. The modules are therefore depressurised when clamped.
- Opened with just 5.5 bar air pressure, so no pressure boosters required.
- Simple installation method.
- The clamping spigots can be mounted with standard mounting materials up to M10.
- Customer-specific clamping spigots possible.
QPD-F with clamping function
These clamping spigots only have a clamping function and can compensate in the XY direction for a deviation of up to 0.1mm.
QPD-Z with zero point function
These clamping spigots have a zero point function enabling a repeat accuracy of 0.005mm to be created. The clamping spigots have an alignment edge for precise positioning.
QPD-A with alignment function
These clamping spigots have an alignment function with which, along with a centring clamping spigot, a repeat accuracy of 0.005mm can be created. The clamping spigots have an alignment edge for precise positioning.
