Universal quick change module with zero point function!

Ø22mm and upwards of 35mm in height, universal pneumatically operated clamping modules.

Application

Small quick changeover clamping system to optimise changes in many different applications. These modules can easily be built into existing systems and machines such as (injection) moulds, assembly lines, clamping systems, including for 5-axis machining centres, etc. Suitable for many industries such as the cutting and chipless machining industry, pharmaceutical, chemical and food industries.

How it works

The modules are sealed by spring pressure and opened pneumatically. The modules are therefore depressurised when clamped.

• Diameter of just 22mm, can therefore be installed in small spaces.
• Just 35/38mm in height, can therefore be installed in small spaces.

The models

Clamping function:

These modules only have a clamping function. Only floating/clamping spigots (Model QMC-F) can be used in these modules. This combination is chosen when exact repeating accuracy is not required or the part to be changed has exact positioning by itself.

Zero point function:

As well as the clamping function, these modules also have a zero point function. Clamping spigots with an alignment (QMC-A) or zero point function (QMC-Z), are clamped repeatedly with an accuracy of <0.005mm) The clamping spigots with a clamping function, can compensate in XY to a maximum of 0.1mm
